I'm here and i'm inspired

So, I promised Rachel I would update my blog soon..so here I am(: I've been so busy lately with club volleyball and homework I just haven't kept to my promise of updating more often. (I'll try and work on it) So I must say, these past couple of days have been really good for me. I'd actually call them life changing. I really don't want to get personal about it on this blog, but I'm making a major change in my life. I finally decided that I want to live life to the fullest and live freely. I'm putting my mistakes behind me & starting over. So I found some poems to share with you. I also have some really inspirational quotes/pictures. Click on the Wiki link to see the "inspiration quotes/pictures".

Inspirational! (click!)

Poem 1: Just as You Are by Jill Lemming

Destructive thoughts within our minds
can keep us in despair...
those doubts and insecurities
are not worth the pain they bear.

It's sad to carry baggage
that causes grief and shame...
and in time we come to realize
we have ourselves to blame.

We can choose our way of thinking
and ask God to give us peace...
as we pray for a healthy attitude,
our negative thoughts will cease.

These human hearts are fragile
and sometimes we can't see...
it takes some effort on our part
to find worth and security.

Don't let those demons haunt you
and keep you in the dark...
just know that God, who formed you,
loves you just the way you are.

Poem 2: Little Things in Life by Regin Riggs

Too often we don't realize
what we have until it is gone;
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong"

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
we hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things
to tear our lives apart

Far too many times we let
unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
to see what made us blind

So be sure that you let people know
how much they mean to you;
Take that time to say the words
before your time is through

Be sure that you appreciate
everything you've got
And be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot

Poem 3: Live Each Moment, Unkown

I may never see tomorrow, there is no written guarantee.
And things that happened yesterday, belong to history
I cannot predict the future, I cannot change the past
I have just the present moment, I must treat it as my last

I must use this moment wisely, for it will soon pass away
And be lost to me forever, as part of yesterday
I must exercise compassion, help the fallen to their feet.
Be a friend unto the friendless, make an empty life complete

The unkind things I do today, may never be undone
And friendships that I fail to win, may never more be won
I may not have another chance on bended knee to pray
And thank God with humble heart, for giving me this day

I have some other poems that I like, but i'll post them some other day. I need to study now. Hope you enjoyed this post! Peace out!
